Disappointing Weather ... Opening delayed :-(

Could you put on the Amaruk Blog that the Opening of the Course will be delayed to Friday, May 7. Hopefully, the weather will improve over the next few days...so things can dry up.

Mix Night Finale

Mixed night golf came to a close for another year Saturday. Close to twenty golfers took part with a number of them sticking to the theme of outrageous dressed golfer. The weather cooperated and we saw a hole in one from Berkley scoring his on number 9 from the 100 yard marker. The day brought to an end a season of fine golf and great cuisine. Top point accumulator with help of many fine lady golfers was Jake.

The pass the ace finale was won by Mary defeating Clarence in the final hand.

Thanks go to Margie for her continued efforts with the night. Job well done Margie.

Mixed Night June 3

It was cold ... oops COLD! Golfers started arriving despite the weather thinking BBQ at least. Suzanne who recently broke her arm (sport's injury) shows up determined to play and BBQ (she played very well using her hybrid for all shots and putting ... making shots that brought the group to their feet ... ) Everybody was bundled up but it was agreed at the end of the evening that it is the best mixed golf we have seen so don't be surprised if in the heat of August you will see some of these golfers dressed for winter trying to recapure the play of June 3.

Opportunity for pictures was lost when the mixed photographer left his camera at home :-( ... a number of the golfers however were pleased.
